WHATS ALANKAAR ?

"Alankaar" means ornamentation — these are note-based exercises that follow specific patterns using the seven basic swaras (Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Dha Ni). For example:

  • Basic Alankaar: Sa Re Ga Ma | Re Ga Ma Pa | Ga Ma Pa Dha | ... and so on.

Purpose of Alankaar Riyaz:
